Cae Charging FAQS

Cae Charging FAQS

1. Can The Air Conditioner Be Turned On While Charging?

Answer: Yes.

1. Some vehicles need to turn off the system before charging, and then start the vehicle after charging to use the air conditioner.

2. The New Vehicle Does Not Have The Operation To Turn Off The System, And The Air Conditioner Is Not Affected By Charging And Can Be Used All The Time.

2. Does Turning On The Air Conditioner During Charging Affect The Battery?

Answer: It Has No Effect On The Battery, But Has A Little Effect On The Charging Speed.

When Charging, The Air Conditioner And The Battery Are Connected In Parallel, A Small Part Of The Power Is Used By The Air Conditioner, And Most Of It Is Used To Charge The Battery.

Comparing The Power Distribution Data In The Above Figure, It Can Be Seen That Turning On The Air Conditioner During Fast Charging Has Little Effect On The Charging Speed, But It Has A Greater Impact During Slow Charging.

3. Can It Be Charged In Rain, Snow Or Thunder?

Answer: Yes.

1. Before Inserting The Gun, There Should Be No Water Or Foreign Objects On The Interface. After Inserting The Gun, The Interface Is Waterproof, And Charging In Rain And Snow Is No Problem At All.

2. Charging Stations, Charging Piles, Lines, Cars, Etc. All Have Lightning Protection Designs, And Charging In Thunderstorms Is Also Safe. To Be On The Safe Side, Please Stay In A Safer Room At This Time.

4. Can I Sleep In The Car While Charging?

Answer: You Can Move Around In The Car, But Don’t Sleep In The Car.

Limited By Current Battery Technology, Spontaneous Combustion May Still Occur While Charging. According To National Standards, The Battery Will Not Catch Fire Or Explode Within 5 Minutes After Thermal Runaway Occurs, So That The Occupants Of The Car Can Leave In Time. It Is Strongly Recommended Not To Sleep In The Car While Charging!

5. How Much Power Is Left To Charge?

Answer: It Is Best To Keep The Battery Level Of The Car Between 20% And 80%.

1. When The Power Is Lower Than 20%, It Should Be Charged. If There Is A Home Charger, It Can Be Charged At Any Time. Slow Charging Every Day Has No Effect On The Battery.

2. The car is just a tool. Just drive it when necessary, even if the battery is turned to 0, it will not have any visible impact.

6. How Much Is The Best Charge?

Answer: Slow Charging Is Casual, Fast Charging To 80%-90% Is Better.

1. It Doesn’t Matter How Much You Charge With Slow Charging, It’s Best To Fully Charge.

2. It Is Better To Fast Charge To 80%-90%, And Some Fast Charging Piles Will Automatically Stop Charging At About 95% To Avoid Overcharging.

3. Long-term Low Power Will Cause Battery Attenuation. If You Do Not Drive For A Long Time (more Than 3 Months), Please Charge It To 80% And Park It. It Is Recommended To Start The Inspection Once A Month And Charge The Small Battery By The Way.

7. Can The Gun Be Drawn Without Stopping Charging?

Answer: No, Please Follow The Steps Below To Draw The Gun.

1. The Fast Charging Gun Has Its Own Lock, Which Will Be Locked When Charging, And Will Be Automatically Unlocked When Charging Stops, And Then The Gun Can Be Drawn.

2. The Slow Charging Gun Does Not Have A Lock, But The Slow Charging Interface On The Body Has A Lock, Which Is Usually Locked Or Unlocked Simultaneously With The Car, So The Slow Charging Pile Needs To Unlock The Door Before Drawing The Gun.

3. When Slow Charging, Unlock The Car Door First, Then Press The Slow Charging Gun Switch And Pause For A Few Seconds, The Slow Charging Pile Will Automatically Power Off, And You Can Draw The Gun. However, This Operation Is Risky And Is Not Recommended For Common Use, And Some Models May Not Support It.

4. In Case Of Emergency (such As Electric Leakage) Or Special Circumstances (such As Failure Of The Charging Pile Software And Hardware To Stop Charging), You Can Press The Red “emergency Stop Button” On The Charging Pile, And Then Draw The Gun.

When the charging pile cannot be charged, you can also check whether the emergency stop button pops up. If you press the emergency stop in special circumstances, please restore it in time to facilitate others to use the charging pile.

8. What Should I Do If The Gun Cannot Be Pulled Out After Stopping Charging?

Answer: Repeat The Operation Several Times First, And Then Unlock It Manually If It Fails.

1. When You Find That You Cannot Draw The Gun, You Should First Operate It Several Times According To The Normal Process, Such As Pushing It In Hard And Then Pulling It Out, Or Restarting The Charging And Stopping Later, Or Repeatedly Locking And Unlocking The Door, Etc.

2. If The Fast Charging Gun Still Cannot Be Pulled Out According To The Above Methods, You Can Try To Unlock It Manually. The Method Is As Follows:

① Find The Unlocking Hole At Several Positions Indicated By The Arrow And Remove The Plug

② Note That Some Gun Heads Are Equipped With Special Small Keys Or Unlocking Ropes

③ Use A Screwdriver/small Key/stick To Insert Into The Hole Or Drawstring To Unlock

3. The Slow Charging Gun Can Also Be Unlocked Manually. Generally, There Is An Unlocking Rope Near The Slow Charging Interface In The Car, Which Can Be Unlocked By Pulling It.

4. If the above methods do not work, you can contact the customer service of the charging pile to try to unlock it remotely, or the maintenance personnel can go to the scene to solve it. Please do not pull violently to avoid equipment or vehicle damage.

9. Will There Be Radiation From Electric Vehicles Or Charging Stations?

Answer: There Is Electromagnetic Radiation, But It Has No Effect On The Human Body.

1. Electromagnetic Radiation Is Everywhere. The Earth Is A Huge Electromagnetic Field. Sunlight And All Household Appliances Have Electromagnetic Radiation. As Long As It Is Below A Certain Intensity, It Is Harmless To The Human Body.

2. The Country Has Strict Standards For Electromagnetic Radiation Of Various Equipment. The Measured Data Shows That The Intensity Of Electromagnetic Radiation Of Electric Vehicles Is Lower Than That Of Commonly Used Smartphones.

3. Only High-intensity Electromagnetic Radiation And Ultra-high-frequency Ionizing Radiation Are Harmful To The Human Body. It Is Necessary To Keep A Distance To Avoid Excessive Exposure, Such As Tv Transmission Towers, Large Substations, And X-ray Perspective Equipment In Hospitals.
